Judy Garland Screen Test

Susan Hayward nabbed the role of Helen Lawson in the movie version of Valley of the Dolls, but few people know that Bette Davis and Judy Garland were vying for it. Garland got the part, and this wardrobe test offers a peek into some of the extravagant clothes made for the Lawson role (that white gown!), and drops a few hints about why she was fired in the end...
